'Mission Sapne' will be a brilliant TV show, says Varun Dhawan

One-film old actor Varun Dhawan, who will be seen as a vegetable vendor in his debut TV show 'Mission Sapne', says the show will be "brilliant".

In the show, celebrities from different walks of life will leverage their fame for the benefit of the common man. The celebrities will step into the shoes of the common man and tackle hardships faced by a common man to raise funds.

"It is going to be a brilliant show. It will be aired on Colors Channel. It is titled 'Mission Sapne'. Please watch that show. It's a really good concept," Varun told reporters here Thursday at the launch of the trailer of his forthcoming film 'Main Tera Hero'.



Varun Dhawan, who will be seen as a vegetable vendor in his debut TV show 'Mission Sapne', says the show will be "brilliant".

"I had shot for the episode earlier only. I became a patiwala and sold vegetables as a vegetable vendor in the Crawford market (here) and shot for five to six hours there," he added.

Other celebrities, who will make an appearance in 'Mission Sapne', include superstar Salman Khan, cricketer Harbhajan Singh and singer Mika Singh, among others.

Salman Khan, Varun Dhawan to play aam aadmi

Colors is set to provide a platform for celebrities from different walks of life to leverage their fame for the benefit of the common man with the upcoming show Mission Sapne.

The show will be a dramatic entertainment. Bollywood superstars Salman Khan, debutant Varun Dhawan, cricketer Harbhajan Singh and singer Mika Singh among others will step into the shoes of aam aadmi (a common man) for a day, and face hardships to raise funds for those who struggle to make ends meet.

The show is scheduled to be aired in a few months.

Salman is likely to play a tea vendor at a roadside stall and the money earned by him will go to the family of the real life tea vendor.

Varun Dhawan, who has already shot for the show, sell fish and ensure that the business gets a boats and change the ordinary and tough life of the fishermen. Varun will be seen as a "patiwala" (labourer) and has already shot at Crawford market.

"I am doing a reality show... I am a patiwala. Its a good concept. I have already shot for it at Crawford market", Varun tweeted.

Harbhajan becomes biscuit seller for 'Mission Sapne'
